Rhatany Root Powder is a natural herbal ingredient rich in tannins and polyphenols, renowned for its soothing, antioxidant, and pore-refining properties. Traditionally valued in skincare, it helps calm sensitive skin, reduce excess shine, and improve the appearance of pores. When formulated into masks or powders, it provides a soft natural tint that enhances the skin’s healthy glow, while in creams it delivers gentle antioxidant protection and promotes a smoother, more comfortable complexion.

How to use:
● Powder masks/cleansing grains: blend dry with clays and starches; wet at use with Aqua or a hydrosol to form a smooth paste.
● Emulsions (cream/lotion): disperse the powder in a small amount of propanediol or as an aqueous slurry; add in cool-down with homogenization; filter if needed for smoothness.
● Toner/gel (as an extract): prepare an herbal decoction or hydroalcoholic extract, filter well, then incorporate into the formula with an appropriate preservation system.

Recommended usage levels in skincare:
● Powder masks/cleansing grains: 2–20%
● Emulsions (face/body): 0.1–1% as a powder dispersion (higher levels may feel gritty)
● Aqueous extracts in toners/gels: 1–5% (depending on extraction strength)
